Photography can hardly be listed as a hobby today with people generating gigabytes worth of images per square kilometer weekly in even moderately populated areas. I, too, contribute my modest megs. Some of those I enjoy looking at from time time, many have a story behind them.

Way back (in 2009, I had to go and check, that's how long ago it was!), I got mesmerized by this Terragen software: a program that can generate a height map, color it, and then produce photo-realistic images with the sky, water, and everything. I started experimenting and got sucked in.
