I only had half a day there and I made the most of it. An hour spent on initial recon made me realize that I must be somewhere high when the evening comes. Otherwise, I’m going to loose about two full hours walking the narrow streets with almost no light even during the day.
So I went to the wall tour towards the evening and had not regretted it. The view from the top is nice as it is, but when the Sun begins to sink, the sandstone walls and the all-shades-of-red clay rooftops get even warmer colors.
